Every cigar tells a story, but the Perdomo Legacy Connecticut cigar was built as a tribute. Created by Nicholas Perdomo III in honor of his father, Nick Perdomo Jr., this blend is a deeply personal project—and the start of a bold new chapter for the Perdomo family. It’s part of the Legacy series, which introduces a unique shade-grown Cuban/Cameroon-seed hybrid tobacco developed in-house and grown on the family’s Finca Natalie estate in Estelí. For the Legacy Connecticut, that hybrid is featured as the binder component, paired with one of the most elegant wrappers Perdomo has ever used.
The cigar features a silky 10-year-aged Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that’s been bourbon barrel-aged for an additional eight months. Underneath lies the proprietary hybrid binder and Nicaraguan fillers sourced from the family’s prime growing regions: Estelí, Condega, and the Jalapa Valley. The result is a refined and balanced blend that stays true to Perdomo’s signature style while showing off a new dimension of smoothness, cream, and complexity.
What does the Perdomo Legacy Connecticut cigar taste like?
This is a medium-bodied cigar that leans creamy and composed, offering notes of sweet cream, toasted almond, and a soft vanilla finish. As it burns, you’ll pick up hints of cedar and just the right amount of white pepper spice—being elegant but never overpowering. It’s a cigar built for reflection, for legacy, and for those who appreciate craftsmanship without compromise.
